We are affiliated with Jung's Taekwondo Academy in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Martial Arts America has been specializing in the instruction of Taekwondo for 20 years. Master Wells has been practicing the art for 30+ years. The main dojang (the Korean word for school) is headquartered in Ankeny, Iowa with 11 local central Iowa branch schools. The business is locally owned and operated by Master Robert Sledge (eight degree black belt). All classes are taught with children and adults together, therefore providing a physical activity the entire family can enjoy.All instructors are Black Belts. We have advanced classes on Wednesday and Friday nights for brown and black belts.Martial Arts America now offers Tiny Tigers classes. The Tiny Tigers program was created specifically for children ages 4-6 years of age, as an introduction to Tae Kwon Do.
