My background consists of working at Unity Point Cedar Rapids in the operating room, intensive care unit and cardiology clinic. After leaving Unity Point, I continued my career at Linn County Public Health working in the lead poisoning prevention program as well as becoming a certified asthma educator.

I believe that there are multiple areas that contribute to overall health. Physical, mental, environmental, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being all come into play when talking about wellness. My focus is to offer an approach to care that takes all facets of a patient's life into account, not just the physical body.
