About this business

Having an early interest in home building is the foundation from which my business has been built. I have been in the construction business since 1986 and founded TS Construction, Inc. in 1989 as a framing contractor. I became a homebuilder in 1998 with the philosophy that quality is always the number one priority in building a home. People often asked if I built houses. I tell them “No, I build homes.” I believe in a hands-on approach with every home. If you look through a TS Construction, Inc. home, you can see the craftsmanship and details throughout. There are many details throughout the homes, including the beautiful trim work, multi level ceilings, beautiful windows, flooring, plumbing, electrical fixtures, cabinets, countertops, etc. I like working with the homeowners to build the home they want – the home of their dreams. “I believe in building a house that someone would be proud to call their home.”
TS Construction, Inc. is a member of the National Home Builders Association, Iowa Home Builders Association, Home Builders Association of Greater Des Moines, Better Business Bureau, and Grimes & Johnston Chamber of Commerce. Tom Stevens also has the coveted designation of “Graduate Master Builder.”
Tom Stevens President of TS Construction, Inc. serves on the board of directors of the National Home Builders Association, Iowa Home Builders Association, and past President of the Homebuilders Association of Greater Des Moines
