With over 28 years of experience, Dr. Kunkle is able to quickly diagnose the areas that could be causing the pain in your body and make the proper adjustments. We provide fast relief for your toughest pain. Dr. Kunkle has five different treatment techniques at his disposal. This helps greatly to tailor treatment to individual needs- from children, to the frail and elderly, even to people with previous spinal surgeries. Among these different techniques are Activator- which is a low force technique. Thompson, Gonstead, and Diversified techniques are for when more force is needed to restore joint motion and alignment; and Cox technique can be particularly useful for treating disc problems. Dr Kunkle also provides physiotherapy for those affected by previous injuries. Very often, muscle problems accompany joint and spinal problems preventing a faster, full recovery- we use several physiotherapy modalities like muscle stimulation and myofascial trigger point work to address these muscle problems that often accompany spine and joint problems. Dr. Kunkle also has 3 different techniques to treat problems with joints in the arms and legs. Just about any joint in the body can become misaligned or subluxated. This includes the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, and ankle. X-rays are not routinely done. Most times, having X-rays will not change the diagnosis, treatment plan, or outcome. X-rays and other advanced imaging will be done if your problem cannot be confidently diagnosed by physical examination.
