James P Tucker, MD

James P. Tucker, M.D. earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University, Bloomington, and a medical degree from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and completed his pediatric residency with the University of Wisconsin-Madison.


Dr. Tucker is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Greater Louisville Medical Society, the IN State Medical Association, and the KY Medical Association. He is board certified in pediatrics.


A native of Central Illinois, Dr. Tucker enjoys participation in church and family activities with his beautiful wife and teenage son and daughter. He also enjoys running, watching baseball games, and working in the yard. Dr. Tucker's goal is to serve patients and their families with dignity and respect. He strives to provide quality care to achieve the best health outcomes for those he sees.
