Yogesh Patel, DO

Dr. Patel is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon who joined Community Heart and Vascular in 2022. He completed his residency in cardiothoracic surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine and earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton.

Specializing in cardiovascular surgery, Dr. Patel performs procedures on heart valves, the aorta and coronary arteries. He is dedicated to providing innovative, high-quality care, utilizing techniques ranging from open heart surgery to minimally invasive and robotic procedures. Dr. Patel takes a personalized approach, treating each patient like family to ensure a positive experience and outcome.

Outside of work, he enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife and children, engaging in hobbies such as snowboarding, wakeboarding and traveling.
