Matthew J. Sousa, M.D., is an interventional cardiologist with Norton Heart & Vascular Institute. He earned his medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Ohio. He completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital, Lexington. He then completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington.
Dr. Sousa realizes that every patient has specific needs and creates a tailored care plan for each individual. A native of Massachusetts, Dr. Sousa now lives in Louisville with his wife and enjoys spending time outdoors in his free time.
