Jeffrey T White, MD

Jeffrey T. White, MD, PhD, is a pediatric urologist with Norton Children’s Urology. He has taught for two years through a clinical appointment in the Department of Urology at the University Of Louisville School Of Medicine. Dr. White strives to treat patients and their families how he would want his family or friends treated. He wants to understand the family's and patient's concerns. This information helps him to tailor the counseling and discussion for their needs. The parents and/or family know their child best; his goal is to provide information so that they have the necessary understanding to choose a treatment decision for their child.

Dr. White, MD, PhD, is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He also completed his PhD in developmental biology of the genitourinary tract from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA. His PhD was supported by an NIH F30 Award. He served his residency and was the chief resident for the Department of Urology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, TX. Dr. White completed a fellowship in pediatric urology at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX. During his research year, he received a Research Scholar Award from the American Urological Association for his work in penile development and hypospadias.
