Marissa D. Guidry, NP

Marissa Guidry, NP, practices internal medicine at Ochsner Health. Marissa has been practicing in the medical field since 2008. She was a registered nurse at Lafayette General Medical Center from 2008 to 2013. Marissa earned her degree in Master of Science in nursing as a family nurse practitioner from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2013. She became certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in 2013, and she actively participates in AANP to stay updated on medical advancements. Marissa is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of her patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. She has been practicing at Ochsner since 2015. Marissa has also been functioning as supervisor advanced practice provider site lead since 2021, serving as a resource for Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center and Rural Health Clinics. Outside of medicine, she enjoys exercising, reading, enjoying music and spending time with family and friends. She loves practicing in the Acadiana region because she grew up here and loves the culture and people in this area.
