Essica Mayhall is a decorative painter in New Orleans, Louisiana. For the last three years she has trained with Stephanie Jones in Memphis, Tennessee. While working with Stephanie, Jessica learned to transform furniture, accessories, walls, and floors with chalk paint, milk paint, waxes, gold and silver leaf, and stencils. Jessica is passionate about thrift stores, DIY projects, and renovating her home with her husband. Currently, Jessica keeps shop at Creative Finishes & Furnishings in her hometown of New Orleans, LA. Creative Finishes & Furnishings began as Creative Finishes Studio by fellow decorative painter Jane Drew in 2011. Jane passed the store onto Jessica in 2014 in order to take a job teaching and inspiring others with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. Creative Finishes & Furnishings, is located at 2047 Metairie Road, carries Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, specialty paint sundries, and stencils.
