Medic Pharmacy Services

Medic Pharmacy Inc. began its journey in 1961. We opened the doors of our first location, delivering quick, accurate prescriptions — at lower prices — to the Shreveport and Bossier City communities.

Over the next 20 years, we grew to 21 individual stores. From the mid-1980s until 1995, we located six of our pharmacies inside of Brookshire Grocery stores in the area.

Innovative changes in the pharmaceutical industry during the 1980s prompted the expansion of our services to include specialty compounding and progressive ways of delivering medications.

We purchased a franchise license from Prescription Compounding Centers of America (PCCA) in 1984, making us one of Louisiana's first and Shreveport-Bossier City's only compounding pharmacy.

Today, Medic Pharmacy serves Shreveport and Bossier City at 1849 Line Avenue. After over five decades of serving the needs of our community, we give you the utmost in personalized service — quick, efficient, and affordable.
