In Short
A popular spot for lunch and after-work drinks for weary lawmakers, this Beacon Hill favorite offers a clandestine spot for talking shop. Dark wood, brick walls and plenty of chairs, tables and pews give the 21st… Read Full Editorial
One of the best places for a brew... anytime of day by Meghan Christine via Citysearch on 5/8/2010
Absolutely love 21st Amendment. Allagash is on draft - need I say more? The crowd is always solid - no pretentious uppity people - just high quality solid Bostonians. Regardless the time of day you can be guaranteed great service and an…
Tasty food, good location by justme28 via Citysearch on 7/25/2008

21st Amendment is good. Nice place to stop for a drink but would not receommend the food. The drinks are pricey but for one or two its a nice place to go.
Best Burger... thanks to the bun! by hockiemack via Citysearch on 9/26/2006
I always have a great time at the 21st amendment. Great service, wonderful atmosphere, cool crowd, great music. They have one of the best burgers in town. It's all thanks to that bun. I'm always thrilled to hang out there.

The original CHEERS! by martinime via Citysearch on 8/13/2004
This place is a hidden gem right next to the State House. Super-friendly waitstaff (Cy, the bartender, remembered me AND my drink after one time!) and very laid back, cozy tavern-type atmosphere. I've been here a couple times by myself &…

As a new Beacon Hill resident I visited the 21st for my first time last Friday night. What a party! I met a ton of people...great people, music and drinks! What more could I ask for.
