The Scene
All day long there's seemingly a steady line of customers at this West Cambridge pizza shop. The crust is freshly made, thin and crisp. The sauce is light and slightly sweet with just a hint of oregano. Toppings never… Read Full Editorial
I use to love this pizza place! by Marcia E via Insider Pages on 11/20/2008
This pizza shop was a local favorite as I was growing up in Cambridge and if it was your birthday, Armando would give you a slice on the house. It doesn't get much better then that as a 11 year old. My friends and I frequented it regularly.
Great Pizza! by Mstevens7777 via Citysearch on 7/20/2008

Excellent tasty hot sauce and cheese and crust by curious1150 via Citysearch on 1/8/2008
We return to Armando's even though it is not the closest good pizza joint, because it is so outstanding. Perfectly cooked thin crust pizza with flavorful sauce and toppings. Order ahead, go there, and eat it at the (busy noisy) store,…

Armando's Pizza by Jack L. via Judy's Book on 3/16/2006
The neighborhood family feeling runs deep here, deep as the deep-dish Sicilian that is the signature of its authentic cuisine. Plenty of local color, including photos along Cambridge notables -- past and present. The patriarch- Armando…
Armenian Pizza. by Giam T. via Judy's Book on 9/30/2005
Everyone always talks about how nice Cambridge 1 is. I must admit that the pizza is not bad at all. You can even split your pizza so you get different toppings and sauces on different sections. However, I wouldn't classify it as great.…
Excellent by heatheru via Citysearch on 4/21/2004
Forget the fancier artichoke and goat cheese pizza places (Emma, I'm looking at you) - go to Armando's for terrific basic pies. The cheese is generous and drippy, there's grease (no, don't wipe it off) on top and a good crust. And the…
the best pizza in town by tn107 via Citysearch on 12/6/2003
armando's is a brilliant pizza joint. it's just as good as, if not better than, pizza i've had in new york city's little italy. the pile on the toppings, and the slices are huge!

After reading your top ten pizza places in the Boston area I can't believe you omitted Armando's Pizza on Huron Ave. in Cambridge. Ask any native Catabrigian and they'll tell you that for over thirty years Armando's is #1.
Best hometown Pizza Shop by bmarshb via Citysearch on 8/8/2002
Always a friendly hello from Armando. His pizza is what I crave when I get the munchies. No matter what kind of thin crust Pizza you like, you'll find it there.
Neapolitan at its best.. by thom02 via Citysearch on 7/21/2002
Armando's Pizzeria is in a class by itself: A neighborhood joint, family run, thin-crust, New York-style, melt in your mouth, delicious pizza. A true test of a great pizza pie is not how many toppings are offered, or the rarest…
