McKayla Ferreira Alencar, NP

McKayla M. Ferreira Alencar is a Certified Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner at Prima CARE. She is experienced in healthcare, expanding her role from a Certified Nursing Assistant to a Registered Nurse/Case Manager and now as a Doctorate-level Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Ferreira Alencar earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and her Doctorate in Adult-Geriatric Primary Care as a Nurse Practitioner at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth.


Her experience in health care has included nursing in rehabilitation and assisted living settings, inpatient nursing at Saint Anne's Hospital, Case Management at Elmwood Health care, and outpatient Primary Care at Prima CARE with the Millview Medical practice and she provides care to patients in local skilled nursing facilities.

Ms. Ferreira Alencar is devoted to the health and well-being of her community and is fluent in Portuguese. She sees Prima CARE outpatients at 207 Plymouth Avenue in Fall River and refers inpatient and emergency care to Saint Anne's.
