First Command Financial Advisor - Gretchen Butler, CMFA

Gretchen Butler joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in June 2004. She is excited about the opportunity to help people make the smart financial decisions that are essential to long-term financial security.

A graduate of Virginia Tech with a bachelor's degree in Finance, Gretchen holds Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses plus state life and health insurance licenses in MD. She is a Certified Military Financial Advisor certificant.

Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Gretchen serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. She advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to mange financial risk. Gretchen will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals.

In her free time, Gretchen enjoys, spending time with friends, spending time with family and traveling.

Active in her community, Gretchen is a volunteer for Arundel High School Girls Soccer Program.
