AAt SAVANT Interior Design, our primary goal is to improve our clients’ quality of life through exceptional design.

Our process is collaborative and we place great emphasis on customer service and communication. The name “SAVANT” connotes expertise, with a nod to couture and culture. We strive to make the design process smooth and seamless, accommodating client projects in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, as well as the rest of the world.

All of SAVANT’s designs are tailored to our individual clients. Our approach is based on the use of timeless pieces and relies on texture, pattern, and unique accoutrement. We draw on elements, such as architectural detailing, specialty textiles, mid-century antiques, or decorative finishes to create exceptional interiors. Our clients often describe our style as, “sophisticated, but inviting” and We believe spaces should be beautiful, as well as functional.

Owner and Principal interior designer, Lorna Gross, focuses on incorporating clientele preferences, personality, and lifestyle. She believes “authenticity” is the cornerstone of great interior design. “I take my cues from the client’s tastes and their unique design unfolds from there.”
