While building his janitorial company, David Stough discovered a growing concern for his clients and their properties on-going mold problems. Unfortunately, an immediate and cost-effective solution for treating mold problems wasn't available. That's when personal tragedy struck.

The principle problem in the mold prevention and remediation industry is the lack of a systematic, cost-effective approach to prevent or determine the scope of a client's mold problem. Wanting something better, Mold & Moisture Solutions created the IPD - Inspection and Preliminary Determination tool. This three-step inspection system utilizes national standards developed by the various trade associations and determines 1) if a problem exists; 2) to what degree the problem exists, and 3) what is the current condition.
A second problem in the industry is that MOST mold prevention and remediation companies receive final payment upon removing all visible signs of mold, not for removing the mold completely! In most cases, there is no warranty or guarantee of work which means the consumer has no protection or legal recourse if the mold returns.
