Nathan Oakes, DDS, DMD

Dr. Nathan Oakes, DMD, is a Maine-born and raised dentist with a deep commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to the people of Maine. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2013 and has since dedicated his career to clinical excellence, education, and leadership within dentistry.

Dr. Oakes is a multi-practice owner and an active leader in the dental community. He is a member of the Casco Bay Study Club, serves as a Key Opinion Leader and Virtual Study Club Leader with the American Academy of Clear Aligners, and sits on the Scientific Advisory Board for Aspen Dental. In addition, he is clinical faculty for implants and extractions at Aspen Dental’s Oral Care Clinic in Chicago, where he helps train and mentor clinicians from across the country. He also serves on the advisory board for Made By Dentist, a science-driven toothpaste company focused on evidence-based oral health solutions.
