South Portland Comprehensive Treatment Center

South Portland Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in South Portland, Maine, is a medication-assisted treatment (MAT) facility. Adults age 18 and older can receive MAT for an addiction to opioids such as heroin or prescription painkillers. Those who participate in MAT at South Portland CTC receive a prescription for a medication such as methadone or Suboxone to help reduce the severity of physical withdrawal symptoms.
