Not only do they perform colonoscopies for cancer prevention, but also outpatient and inpatient elective surgeries and emergency procedures. They repair injuries, prevent diseases and generally improve health. They help patients to determine if surgery is necessary, evaluate the risks involved and select the appropriate surgical procedure.
