Extra Credit Union is known for its heart to serve through offering help, guidance, counsel, and programs for the entire community. As the only credit union in Southeast Michigan to offer a certified K-12 financial curriculum, we provide hands-on learning, financial fundamentals and customized services to help students make good financial decisions now and create a brighter financial future. We support our teachers with many different opportunities, as well. Your membership helps support these essential school programs. We honor our roots in the educational sector in Macomb County, which is why we’re known as “Extra Credit Union” {get it? “Extra Credit” and “Credit Union”? We’re pretty witty, right?}.
