When Nigel Dahlvang was growing up, his father ran a few businesses, which instilled an entrepreneurial spirit in him at a young age. He has worked in the corporate banking and finance world for 19 years in various roles, including customer service, underwriting, sales, and compliance.

Nigel started a few small side businesses in the past and learned the importance of establishing and utilizing business systems, which led him to consider franchising. After exploring several different franchise opportunities, Nigel felt that The Brothers that just do Gutters spoke to him more. Its franchise business model was what he was looking for. It also fits into his interests and skillset better than the others.

His father’s roofing business dabbled in gutters years ago when Nigel was younger, so he had some experience with gutters. In his late teens and early twenties, Nigel worked on a framing crew as well as a landscape/irrigation crew.

In addition to his early building and home services experience, Nigel has an extensive sales and customer service background that includes managing and training staff. Nigel is ecstatic to build a business of his own and leave the corporate banking world behind.
