Wagon Wheel Motel & Connie's Shoppe

The Wagon Wheel is an original tourist court built in the 1930's depression era and its amazing Ozark stonework has withstood the test of time with a complete restoration of the interiors in 2011. Reach back in time and stay for a night or a destination weekend in one of the original rooms. Some still have the original wood flooring as does Connie's Shoppe' and office building once the famous Wagon Wheel Restaurant . The nostalgic gas pumps and original Standard Oil Station building with "Wilbur" over the car repair pit makes a great photo opportunity. The Neon sign built in 1947 flashes beckoning travelers from allover the world, with most all of its original neon. There are plenty of eateries within walking distance while checking out the 14 Murals in Cuba. This is one of the treasured motels on Route 66 and also a local icon. It is a perfect location for motorcycle groups that wish to ride in all directions.
