Douglas W Rose, FNP

Douglas Rose, FNP, is a board-certified family medicine nurse practitioner who treats patients of all ages, from newborns to adults. He provides preventative care, including annual wellness exams, pre-employment physical exams, vaccinations, school and sports physicals, men’s health and acute and chronic conditions management. He treats a wide range of conditions, including cold and flu symptoms, asthma, ADHD, anxiety and depression, COPD, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, minor illness and injuries, osteoporosis, thyroid disease, tobacco use and urinary tract infections. He assists with advanced directives and planning for end-of-life care.

Douglas is dedicated to ensuring that his patients feel as cared for as if they were his own family. He is thankful for the strong connections he forms with his patients and enjoys seeing each one at every visit.

Douglas grew up in Farmington, Missouri. He enjoys spending time on his family farm, caring for their many animals and pets with his family, children, and grandchildren. He has been a United Way of St. Francois County board member.

Douglas earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Missouri Baptist University School of Nursing in St. Louis and her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner degree at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau.
