Michael J. Heavey, MD

Dr. Heavey is board certified in internal medicine and in gastroenterology. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterology Association. He earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He completed his internship, residency and a three-year gastroenterology fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois.

Dr. Heavey specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and hepatobiliary systems. He is well trained to perform a wide variety of tests, including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCPs, and endoscopic ultrasound. He is on staff at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital - Fenton.
