William Mitchell III, MD

Dr. William Mitchell works with athletes of all ages and abilities. His areas of expertise include overuse injuries, fractures, and concussions. He also treats tendonitis, sprains and strains, stress fractures, bone contusions, plantar fasciitis, and running injuries.

In his practice, he provides injury diagnosis and management. He sees patients for sports physicals, joint injections, casting and splinting, physical therapy referrals, and exercise prescription.

Dr. Mitchell applies the latest techniques in his work with athletes, including compartment pressure testing for exertional compartment syndrome.

Research interests include stress fractures and other overuse bone injuries, concussions, and the female athlete triad.
