As a neurologist, I see all cases in neurology, although my interest and expertise is in treating patients with nerve and muscle diseases, performing electromyography studies and treating patients with headache disorders. I am particularly interested in treating migraine headaches. There have been many advances in the treatment of migraine over the last five to six years, and we have an entirely new drug that class specifically designed to treat migraine. These treatments are more effective, and they're better tolerated, so there's a lot more options. It's rare I can't make a patient better. Anyone whose migraines affect their daily life needs a specialist who's familiar with these new treatments. I take pride in making patients comfortable and getting to the bottom of what's affecting them. I enjoy being a diagnostician, figuring out the problem, and coming up with a plan to make that patient better.
