From Red Lodge, you can take Hwy. 212 up to the breathtaking beauty of the Beartooth Highway, a National Scenic Byways All-American Road (to elevations of 11,000' with quaint mountain towns along the way), which leads to Yellowstone National Park.

Or, for a tamer trip to Yellowstone, drive approx. 2 hours to Livingston and then south to the charming town of Gardiner, 1 mile from the famed Roosevelt Arch, at the North entrance to Yellowstone National Park (where you will often be greeted by herds of bison) with easy access to Yellowstone's upper loop.
