will damage your vehicle by hcharlesstyle on 11/27/2017 On November 26th I took my truck through the Boone, NC location to be washed as I have done before. I drove straight home and parked it in my barn. Later I went out to go to town and I checked my air pressure in my tires and noticed that both of my drivers side wheels had multiple scratches on them. It didn’t have these scratches before, I know this because I had made several stops before I arrived at Autobell to have my truck washed and I didn’t see scratches before then. When I went to speak to the manager, Tyler Lumsden, this morning I was met with “I can fill out an incident report and rewash to see if it does it again”. Well the scratches are so bad you wouldn’t be able to tell if it made them worse. So I walked through the wash with him as it did my truck, and he dried the wheels down and said it didn’t look any worse and that “the scratches were vertical and horizontal, which wasn’t consistent with the wash pattern”. Well as the wheels on my truck turn while it is rolling through the wash that would make them consistent. On his report he filled out he states that “none of their equipment was high enough to reach the center of the wheel”. Well I watched as the side brushes cleaned along the side of my truck, and they were higher than the center of my wheel, but the damage occurred on the bottom of my wheels, but the wheels made several revolutions as they were being scratched. Anyway I’m screwed on my 2 wheels because of either Autobells equipment or incompetence. I’ve been a customer of this location for 16 years but not anymore.
