First Command Financial Advisor - Nick Putnam

Nick Putnam joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in May 2007. He is excited about the opportunity to help people make the smart financial decisions that are essential to long-term financial security.

A graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor's degree in Financial Management, Nick holds Series 6, 63 & 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in NC Life & Health, P&C and LTC & Med Supp.

Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Nick serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Nick will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals.

Active in his community, Nick is a volunteer for North Carolina Food Bank Triangle YMCA Association.

In his free time, Nick enjoys painting, gardening, and weightlifting.
