I had an affinity to healthcare from an early age. As a child, we frequently visited India where I was able to see the global health disparities. I knew I wanted to become something to be able to provide care to underserved populations and improve access to healthcare for all. I approach patient care in a holistic manner. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their family members during their time in the hospital. This relationship allows the development of a trusting rapport. Knowing patients at this level has only been advantageous in my medical care towards them. I am a big proponent of patient education and spend a lot of time at the bedside educating my patients. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. We like to travel, hike, go on bike rides, participate in any water activity, draw, go to the library, attend outdoor music events and play board games.
