Ricardo C. Ong, MD, MBA

I have a unique background across the breadth of medicine, entering the medical profession as an Emergency Medicine physician in the Army. In my 25 years practicing medicine in the Army across the globe in diverse and challenging environments, I have developed a great appreciation for focusing on the best interests of the patient. The essence of my practice is medical intervention that materially benefits the patient. As a Clinical Geneticist, I practice this on a daily basis, specializing in adult genetics and both adult and pediatric cancer genetics. Additionally, I take great pleasure and satisfaction in education and training, and I am committed to teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians while ensuring they become excellent, well-rounded health care professionals. Outside of medicine, in addition to being an avid reader, I’ve been a dedicated triathlete over the years, and I can often be found in the mountains skiing and mountain biking.
