Richard Natale II, MD, FACS

I am a board-certified urologist with extensive experience in men’s health and reconstructive urology. I grew up in Southern California in a family of physicians, which shaped my early interest in patient care and ultimately led me into the field of urology. I have spent more than 16 years providing comprehensive urologic care in North Carolina, serving patients throughout the Charlotte metropolitan area, including Concord and Mint Hill. My clinical work covers a wide range of urologic conditions, with a strong focus on men’s health and sexual dysfunction. I have extensive experience in prosthetic urology, including penile implants for erectile restoration as well as male urethral slings and artificial urinary sphincters for continence restoration. I also specialize in treating Peyronie’s disease, low testosterone, urinary incontinence, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), offering both medical and advanced procedural therapies. In addition to my clinical practice, I am a strong advocate for men’s health, with particular emphasis on prostate cancer screening and survivorship care. Throughout my career, I have held leadership roles within the large urology group practice I was part of, as well as within the hospital systems I served. My past positions include president and board chair at Carolina Urology Partners, chief of surgery at Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center, and chair of the department of surgery and chief of the urology division at Atrium Health Cabarrus.
