John Brunelle, PhD

I'm a licensed psychologist who provides clinical and sport psychological services. My specialties include athlete mental health, sport performance, helping patients recognize and recover from perfectionism, helping patients recover mentally from injuries and mindfulness-based interventions. \n I use a structured, skill-based approach that encourages individuals to develop a personalized mental fitness action plan that integrates their personal values and leads to a healthy mind and body. \n I'm honored to serve as the team psychologist for USA Taekwondo, and I also work with organizations and individuals involved in other professional, collegiate and Olympic sports. \n When I am not working with patients and clients on their mental and physical performance, I work on my own mental and physical health, spending quality time with family and friends, reading and listening to good books and music, and staying active with running, rucking, pickleball and golf.
