Alexander's Sewing & Vacuum Center is a second-generation family owned business. The business was started in 1962 by Alexander Synowiez. From a home business it grew to a store front located in Durham NC. Paul Synowiez, his son, now owns the business and is helped by his wife and children. Together they continue to sell and repair both sewing machines and vacuums. They are well known throughout the community and respected by their loyal customers.
