Walking into the 1860’s Highlands Inn will bring you to a crossroad of beauty and southern charm. The rich history of Highlands, NC lives right here in these walls. Being the first hotel to be built here in Highlands, it was a center of the town and life, as it is today. Located on main street, with 31 rooms to accommodate your sleeping arrangements. All the rooms have a special charm, with second level porches to private rock garden cabins we have a room for you. The Sequoia room, an 1800’s Victorian parlor, provides the prefect hall for your next event from weddings to business seminars. While we still have amenities to suite your needs including a rock garden terrace, an alternative roof top veranda, along with a restaurant for your morning breakfast and a game room for you to enjoy all in one locational. It is the overall experience that you will have you falling in love with the Highlands Inn and town. With all the history and southern charm of the 1800’s and the amenities of modern establishment including free Wi-Fi, a business center, flat screen TV’s in each room as well as a bathroom. The highlands Inn is not just a peaceful and delightful place to rest your head for the night, but a place to create memories and experience to last a life time.
