EarthWorks is a leader in the high-end residential landscaping and outdoor design market. Located in Kannapolis, NC, EarthWorks serves the greater Charlotte area including Ballantyne, Denver, Lake Norman, Matthews, Waxhaw, and Weddington. We also serve the counties of Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Union, Rowan, and Iredell in North Carolina, as well as Lancaster, Fort Mill, and Tega Cay in South Carolina. Established in 1994 by owner Chip VanPelt, EarthWorks offers more than 20 years of design and construction experience. Team leaders possess extensive training in the design and installation of retaining wall systems and low-voltage lighting systems. EarthWorks is also ICPI* certified in paver design and installation. Design team leader and owner Chip VanPelt began landscaping in 1987 and holds a Landscape Design and Ornamental Horticulture degree from NC State University. Chip and the EarthWorks design team work closely with clients to achieve designs uniquely suited to fit their individual needs. The emphasis during the design process is always placed on the aesthetics and functionality of the projects in order to create beautiful and useful outdoor spaces. It is EarthWorks’ goal to provide clients with a professional construction experience by using only quality materials along with quality craftsmanship.
