CSA is a scam club by Alberto Mafla on 4/19/2024

I decided to posted this review about CSA so
People won’t get scam with this non decent club that only cares about money and creates new higher level teams to make the kids think they are better but is just the fact of getting more money from the parents. My son started 3 years ago in the kings league with a good coach Steve and then coach raul but before coach raul we have like 3 different coaches that was bad for our kids with no Continuity. Then CSA create a ELITE 64 team so CSA pick my son up for that team and 20 more players they got a new coach from Florida Andres Luna that was a good coach and was given continuity to the team and make the kids work as a team . But then CSA out of the blue fired him !!! Once again our team our kids were with no coach !!! We start paying $2250 in the kings team but when they uses this fake marketing to make the kids and the parents believe that the kids are in higher levers they create this ELITE 64 team and of course they charged more $3500 plus the all the expenses for hotels and traveling . So after they fired coach Luna they hire this 65 years old coach GRAJEDA with an actitud of thinking he is pep Guardiola !!! I didnt like the way he was couching specially in the games so I decided to send him a text message telling him to give the same opportunity to all the kids and let them play equal time. He told me that he will talk to me in person I came to talk to him Monday and he said that he is in a rush so next day I came earlier to talk to him with my wife and I told my daughter that was with us to record in her cellphone the meeting , he had a really bad actitud and was very rude and he disrespect my wife telling her that he doesn’t have nothing to talk to her that he only wants to talk to me, then I told him that is no a way to talk to a parents and that he needs to be more polite and have good manners . Then he showed his arrogance after I told him that we are paying $3500 so at least we deserve some respect , so this coach GRAJEDA said that he does not have to be couching because he has a lot of money in the bank ?? and that the OWNER PRESIDENT OF CSA BRYDE WYLDE begging him to come coach this elite 64 team !! Then he said that my son better find a lower level because this elite 64 is a higher level that this coach just start coaching a month ago ???? then is when I realize the game of CSA because CSA including the director of elite 64 coach CATEY STEWART pick my son up and 20 other players to create this team . THE MAIN REASON OF CSA is create this teams and get more money per player . I send an email to the couch Guevara explaining what happened at the conversation with couch GRAJEDA he told me that he forward it to CATEY STEWART She did not have the desency to sent an email until today with her excuses that I will post in pictures . So the reason of this review is to let the parents not trust CSA as a good institution they only cares about money and not about the sports and the kids dreams of becoming professional soccer players . There is some pictures with the screenshot of the email CATEY STEWART SEND ME
and also the screenshots of then text messages I sent to COACH GRAJEDA. Where is very clear that I was not been disrespectful with him . I hope this review open the eyes of the people that is looking for a team for their kids and not make the mistake of get stolen from CSA . I am attaching more reviews from unhappy people about this CSA scam institution .

Stay away from CSA by Thom K on 5/17/2023

This review is specific to York County CSA U9 to U11. My son spent three years in CSA.

Each year we were sold at tryout about how high standards of fundamental and high-quality practice and accountability from the top down would lead to long term growth and development of the kids!

The practices were run with no active coaching, the coach would do drills with no feedback given, no intensity from the coach, NO teachable moments, no reason given to why they are doing the drill. The coach never demanded any respect from the kid and had no leadership skills kids at that age need. Director said it's not our job to motivate these kids that a parent's job!

During games the kids played like a rec team no passing, spacing or formation and while winning or losing not important our team scored one goal in fall of 2023. They never once played as a unit or even resembled a team. The kids would argue with each other and many kids quit the team mid-season. Two kids quit in the middle of a game due to lack of leadership.

CSA has no practice facility and each practice is held at a middle school football field with 8 other teams. They have no room to do anything and only have two soccer goals on the field. Don't fall for the sales pitch at tryouts. After year two and all the issues we said we would not be back for a third season. However we were told and sold on how that it was just growing pains and things would improve.

The real issue is the director for York County Ralph Latchana is coaching too many teams while also being a director of York and Palisades. He is spread too thin and it’s too big of job for him. He is a coach not a organizational director.
CSA has no concerns about the player or experience and that comes from the higher ups. It's all about money and greed! They routinely will take younger kids with no travel experience and add them to an older more experience group to create more teams and make more money!
My son no longer wants to play soccer which is very sad! The CSA program in York County and Palisades (from what I heard) have significant growing pains and should be ashamed to be called a soccer club. Please choose any other club if you want your child to develop in soccer and life!
