Annapoorani "Anna" Veerappan, MD

I’ve always wanted to help people, especially during their times of need when they feel most vulnerable or scared. I want to make a positive impact on this world through patient care by listening closely, providing guidance and re-assurance, and being able to offer diagnostic or screening procedures that get people one step closer to optimal health care outcomes and their health care goals. My job is to listen closely to everything the patient has to say and to work together as a team to achieve their optimal health goals. I see patients with all sorts of gastrointestinal disorders, including GERD/reflux, dysphagia/problems swallowing, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, diarrhea, and treatment for hemorrhoids. Outside of work, I like spending time with my kids, two boys, and I like reading mostly fiction/fantasy/sci-fi. I also enjoy working out at at Burn Boot Camp, and I love trying new restaurants and new foods.
