In Short
The modernist decor feels cool, uncluttered and serene. White walls, graphite banquettes and glossy black chairs make use of texture and shape for visual interest. The New South menu offers appetizers such as the… Read Full Editorial

Very rude staff. We were asked for a reservation for lunch when we have eaten there many times before without one. The food is good but the place is crowded and the staff is rude. You can do better. There's good food everywhere around…
Excellent Business Lunch by Armel via Citysearch on 10/20/2010
I often go here for lunch. Business is done here and it has always been about good food and good conversations.
Not a Good Dinner by copper007 via Citysearch on 4/17/2010
Seafood bisque was extremely fishy tasting - like old seafood in a goo, Not good. Waitress did not even notice that we did not eat it - or did not ask.\r

Wonderful dinner by SylviaS via Citysearch on 10/15/2009
We had reservations for 6. The wine selection was good and the server knowledgeable. When he didn't know about one, he pleasantly said "I'll check on that with our expert." The food was excellent. Out of 6 people, no one got anything…
Great food and service by K K via Insider Pages on 6/9/2009
I have never been disappointed in a meal here. The service is impeccable and food beyond superb. There are standards on the menu, as well as seasonal/specialty entrees.
Sophisticated Dining by Susan H via Insider Pages on 2/14/2009
We have had some really wonderful meals at this restaurant. It is best to make a reservation, otherwise you may not get a table. At a recent meal, I had the most delicious fruit cobbler I have ever eaten. It is well worth the money.
Great food & service, smoking patrons a problem by luvespresso via Citysearch on 6/23/2007
The food is excellent and beautiful. The decor is elegant but casual. The wait staff is well trained, attentive, and really seems to know the menu for food recommendations. The price - expect $40-60/plate with drinks and full 3-4 course…
Wonderful food by treznor via Citysearch on 11/15/2006
I've been twice now, once 6 months ago and again last night. I could definitely tell the difference in the restaurant. The previous time I had the carpetbagger and while it was good it wasn't awesome. This time around I was much more…
THANK THE GOOD LORD JOHN WRIGHT IS BACK!!!!! by blaircampbell via Citysearch on 7/10/2006
I heard threw the grape vine Chef John Wright was going back to Glenwood Grill after a year since his departure. I had to get reservations at once, as I had quit going to the grill since he left. The atmosphere is the same but I heard…
Not all that by patel002 via Citysearch on 5/26/2006
This place is overpriced for the quality of food. The atmosphere is cramped and cold. We felt like uninvited guests - everyone in there was stiff. The tables are so close together that it's awful for a romantic dinner. You can hear…
Inspect your glasses carefully by letmetellya via Citysearch on 5/1/2006
Neither me or my date were wearing lipstick but while munching on bread, sipping water and wine, we noticed that each of our water glasses was wearing lipstick. I assume it was only a dishwasher issue but it was enough to taint what was…
