Stephanie J. Sexton, MD

As a urologist, I am dedicated to delivering patient-centered care with a transparent and team-based approach. Urology is a unique specialty that requires a high level of compassion, communication, and understanding between the clinician and the patient due to the sensitive nature of treating genitourinary disorders. I specialize in managing patients with a wide range of urologic conditions to include cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and kidney stones. Prior to joining UNC Health, I was a US Army physician and Chief of Urology stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the Triangle’s many parks, trails, and coffee shops with my husband and kids.
