EAST Oceanfront Dining at Blockade Runner Beach Resort offers award winning creative fare in a unique oceanfront garden setting. A sophisticated interior design compliments the light, locally sourced menu selections. A canopied outdoor dining deck is cooled by ocean breezes; and, poolside cafe seating is available seasonally.This chef-driven restaurant reflects the passions of Executive Chef Jessica Cabo. Her vegetarian and seafood-centric cuisine reflects influences from California, Mexico, Asia and the Mediterranean. Specialties such as Day Boat Seared Scallops, Goat Cheese Salad with Carolina Apples, and unique twists on the Fresh Daily Catch are artful and inspired. Busteeds Fish Taco, Avacado Toast, the Falafel Mezze Platter and  a Grilled Prime Ribeye round out the offerings.Casually elegant, or elegantly casual, EAST is open for breakfast lunch and dinner, seven days a week and features Lobster Fridays and Blues Brunch Sundays.
