As a nurse practitioner in the Breast Care Center, I provide education about breast health, breast cancer prevention, and ways to lower risk. I help patients understand their personal risk for breast cancer. I guide them through screening recommendations, especially for those at increased or high risk. My goal is to make sure each patient understands their personalized screening plan and prevention options. I help them understand the importance of early detection. I also focus on healthy lifestyle changes that may reduce the risk of breast cancer and improve long-term health outcomes.
