I was drawn to healthcare because I can use my head and my heart. I love to listen, answer questions, educate, and brainstorm options for my patients. I enjoy the intellectual challenge of the work and I also value connecting with people in a meaningful way. I try to make sure my patients always feel heard, acknowledged, and empowered. A patient is more than an individual. They belong to a family or community that plays an integral role in their health and well-being. As a provider, I consider these important people in my patient's life and I try to integrate their support into the patient's plan of care.
