Michael E. Ritondo, MD

I wanted to be a primary care physician until I did my rotation in obstetrics and gynecology. I realized I could be both a primary care physician and surgeon, with the bonus of attending labors! I've been practicing in small community hospitals in the Connecticut River Valley for many years. Working with Dartmouth-Hitchcock allows me to stay current in my field. It also allows me to share the management of patients who need subspecialty care. I provide high-quality, personalized care to patients in my community. I listen to my patients. I explain conditions and treatments to increase their understanding and lower their anxiety. My goal is to help patients improve their quality of life at every stage: from their teens through menopause and beyond. It's very rewarding to empower patients to make health decisions that work for them.
