HOW WE STARTED
In January 2006, in a small café in Fairview, New Jersey, Chef Carlo Filippone embarked on a mission — to help Americans get healthy and combat the ongoing obesity epidemic. Carlo, a fitness enthusiast and internationally recognized food columnist, sought a way to help everyone from active fitness enthusiasts and corporate professionals to stay-at-home caretakers achieve ?better health.

After nearly 20 years in the fitness industry and the restaurant business, close evaluation and analysis had made something very clear to Carlo. He determined that most people’s struggles came not from a lack of exercise, not from a lack of desire to improve, but from being either uninformed as to proper nutrition or not having the culinary skills, ability, or time to prepare properly balanced cuisine.

Carlo knew that there would be only one way to cater to everyone and help them overcome their challenges — through their palate and eating habits! Creating a product line that was tasteful, well balanced and convenient became Carlo’s mission. The process was nothing new to him; he had already spent 10 years serving as a monthly contributor to various international publications.

In that very café in Fairview, New Jersey, Carlo’s vision became reality. His food line has already improved the lives of many and impressed with great taste, enabling his clients to achieve a higher level of health and fitness. As product demand grew, Carlo explored other methods of distribution, and Elite Lifestyle Cuisine was born.

In April 2015, Steve Weatherford was introduced to Carlo. Weatherford, the star punter for the NFL’s New York Giants, has been nicknamed the NFL’s Fittest Man by Muscle and Fitness Magazine, therefore no stranger to being in great shape and maintaining optimal health.

Steve was eager to learn more about Carlo and Elite Lifestyle Cuisine. The pair quickly realized a shared passion for health and wellness which led to a collaboration of ideas; including expansion, company growth, and product development.

In June 2015 Steve and Carlo formed a partnership. Both Steve and Carlo not only stand behind their product, but promise to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Now produced in a Gold Star award-winning facility, Elite Lifestyle Cuisine proudly serves the entire East Coast and Mid-East Regions of the United States!
