I have gone here to pick up odds and ends for my child, assembling a painting and framing needs. I was able to save a lot of money by framing/stretching a painting myself.

Pearl Paint has everything you need in the way of art supplies. Whether you are an amateur or a professional artist you will find what you need. I've never found such an assortment of art supplies in one place except in NYC.

This Pearl is great and offers a parking lot, as opposed to its NYC store. They have a smaller store than the NYC one, but they still have a lot of hard to find art and architecture supplies.
