When most of us think of desserts, we envision a store-bought batch of brownies, or a decorative sponge cake that looks far greater than it tastes. Unfortunately, neither option is truly satisfying.
For those who have no interest in sweets, on behalf of the pastry community, we apologize, and we understand. Most desserts don't satisfy the senses the way they should, leading many of us to rather not have any at all.
