MTP Plumbing & Heating LLC of Hillsborough and Raritan NJ was founded in 2001 by Michael Schaefer, Master Plumber and a life long resident of Somerset and Middlesex County. MTP sells, installs and services gas and electric water heaters, boilers and fuirnace as well as central air conditioning systems. We clean, inspect and service sewers and drains. We also specialize in sump pumps, battery backups, gas piping, water filters, water softening, outside faucets, appliance installation, gas fireplace conversions, gas grill installation, underground excavations and bathroom remodeling.

We have a fabulous selection of quality tile in Ceramic, Porcelain, Glass, Marble, Mosaics, Natural Stone, Eco-friendly products and more. We carry caulk, grout, door saddles, shelves, towel holders, vanity and cabinet knobs and more. We also have countertops and vanity tops in Corian, Granite, IceStone, Ceasarstone, Quartz and more. Since MTP was started in 2001, our existing customers know and our new customers will know that we treat and service every customer with outstanding service. Our office is staffed M-F from 7:30 am to 4 pm with highly trained scheduling/customer services representatives. You will always talk to a live staff member during normal business hours. On nights, weekends and holidays you will be able to navigate your way through our easy telephone prompting system for scheduling, billing, customer service and emergency mailboxes.
