Anchored Counseling Center, LLC: Gabriella Goetz, LPC

Anchored Counseling Center in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, provides compassionate therapy individually tailored to clients ages 16 and above. Led by Gabriella Goetz, LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor, the practice helps clients develop the coping skills necessary to achieve their full potential. Gabriella treats mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders and trauma. She also helps with struggles related to life transitions such as relationship difficulties and career stress.
Gabriella earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Centenary University in Hackettstown, New Jersey. She subsequently completed her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey. She is licensed as an LPC in the state of New Jersey.
Gabriella’s approach balances compassion, empathy, direction, and validation. She helps adolescents and adults with kind yet direct psychotherapy as well as personalized support and guidance. Gabriella's approach is rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). She also integrates mindfulness techniques into her work.
Counseling helps clients identify and explore the factors contributing to their mental health state, but more importantly, empowers clients to develop strategies to manage their own thoughts and emotions. By giving clients the tools to recognize and manage their negative thoughts, they are able to create behavioral changes that greatly improve their overall well-being and quality of life. At Anchored Counseling Center, Gabriella aims to help her clients thrive.
